Northern Ireland reverses £200k funding cut to marching bands

The new Communities Minister has pledged to reinstate the scheme a year after it was put “on hold” due to budget pressures by Carál Ní Chuilín, the former Minister for the Department of Culture, Arts and Leisure – a department abolished in the wake of the 2016 Northern Ireland Assembly elections.
