Newbury theatres hit by second council funding cut in two years

In an attempt to make £6.7m in savings, West Berkshire Council is to cut funding to the Watermill Theatre and Newbury Corn Exchange by 44%. This is despite both venues already agreeing to cuts of at least 25% in 2014.
