New code of conduct for theatres’ diverse audiences

One third of the 15k people surveyed for a Ticketmaster study said they had checked their phone during a performance. Audience members aged 25-34 were most guilty of this action, and were twice as likely to think it acceptable. Three-quarters of theatre-goers have dressed casually for a performance.
