Music Venue Trust partners with whiskey brand to support bands to tour grassroots venues
US whiskey brand Jack Daniel’s has partnered with Music Venue Trust to support small grassroots music venues.
The initiative sees the UK arm of the company sponsoring nationwide tours by three up-and-coming artists and bands. The first tour starts in May with the band, The Hunna.
Denzil Thomas, partnerships lead at the charity, which acts to protect and improve small music venues, said: “This is the next stage in our long-standing partnership with Jack Daniel’s.
“These tours — like the first in this series with The Hunna – are coming to towns and venues that have seen fewer and fewer touring artists in recent years.
“We are excited to be working with Jack Daniel’s on an initiative that starts to put that right.”
