The Mining Institute earmarked for £4.7m Heritage Lottery funding

The Newcastle-based institute has received £600k as development funding, with the remaining £3.9m to be confirmed at a later date, to secure a sustainable future by restoring the exterior of the Grade II listed Neville Hall and digitising the institute’s archive.
