Manchester focuses on social impact in £7m culture grants

The Hallé orchestra and the Royal Exchange Theatre are among the 28 organisations to share £7m of investment for 2018-20 from the Greater Manchester Combined Authority, which will have to evidence how their work improves residents’ health and wellbeing. The new Culture Social Impact Fund has replaced the AGMA-run Section 48 grants fund.
