London’s theatres are no longer fit for purpose, says Andrew Lloyd Webber

The composer and impresario has delivered a damning verdict on many of the capital’s ageing Victorian and Edwardian theatres, describing them as "too outdated for contemporary audiences, actors and directors" and too inflexible to accomodate ambitious modern shows.
