Lack of donors for North East arts

The Newcastle Culture Investment Fund which was set up to offset cuts to the arts in North East England is yet to receive donations from organisations and wealthy donors. As yet, no one has come forward with extra cash which Newcastle Council will match in an attempt to see off criticism of its plans to remove all arts funding.
