A UK-wide campaign is aiming to ensure music is at the heart of post-lockdown school life and that all children and young people can resume music lessons in the autumn. The ISM, Music Mark and the Music Teachers’ Association (MTA) fear that schools facing severe logistical, financial and educational challenges when students return will be concerned that there are significant challenges when trying to put music at the heart of school life.

#CanDoMusic aims to offer a 'one-stop-shop' to make sure that all children can do music when they return to school, showing how these challenges can be overcome, and providing schools and other education settings with clear guidance, resources and practical and creative ideas.

A website signposts practical resources for teachers and a social media campaign directs people to the website and will help to share them.
