Hallé Orchestra bids to open free school with focus on music

Following in the footsteps of Royal & Derngate theatre, the orchestra hopes to open a school in Stoke-on-Trent by 2020. Open to both primary and secondary pupils, students would spend 40% of their time in specialist music classes.
