Green light for Wrexham’s new arts hub as funding secured

The Arts Council of Wales has approved £2.3m of funding for an arts hub in Wrexham town centre’s People’s Market. It will combine market stall provision with galleries, performance areas and studios spaces. Work on the project, which has attracted criticism locally, is expected to be complete in 2018.
