Government pledges £7m to boost cultural ties with China

Funding has been granted to a number of British cultural organisations, including £740k to Shakespeare’s Globe for a tour and education programme, £500k to the Royal Opera House for a training programme for Chinese students and £500k over three years to London’s South Bank for a new Love China Festival.
