Gender inequality in Ireland’s publicly funded theatres called out by study

A report commissioned by Waking the Feminists claims “discrimination was the norm” in Irish theatre from 2006 to 2015, and calls out The Abbey and Gate theatres in Dublin for having the worst overall representation of women out of the ten producing and presenting companies assessed.
