Funding shake-up for performing arts colleges

The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts and Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance have had their funding cut by £750k and £800k respectively by the Higher Education Funding Council for England. In its annual allocation the Council doubled funding for the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama and gave the Guildhall School of Music and Drama a £4m boost.
