First UK range of ballet shoes for non-white dancers

Dance company Ballet Black has partnered with dance shoe manufacturer Freed of London to create two new tones of pointe shoe. The bronze and brown models aim to address the current need for non-white dancers to manipulate their shoes to make them flesh-coloured.
