The Council for Dance Education and Training will be renamed the Council for Dance, Drama and Musical Theatre as it takes on the accreditation role held by Drama UK before its closure in 2016. The Federation of Drama Schools was set up as a replacement for Drama UK last year, but does not provide independent accreditation.
