Creative UK has launched an online collection of case studies to offer “ideas, learning and inspiration” in response to worsening diversity in the creative sector.

The organisation said research shows that the representation of working class people in creative industries has reached its “lowest level since the 1970s”.

On its website, Creative UK has compiled more than 40 case studies from across the sector, featuring organisations such as Sky, the V&A Museum and the PRS Foundation.

It said these highlight how diversity creates “better ideas, better content, better business performance, and better staff engagement and retention”.

The campaign will run for a year, aiming to inspire the sector to launch or expand equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives.
