Councillors approve Theatre Royal ‘Bianca’ statue

Opponents of plans for a £450k statue of Shakespeare’s character ‘Bianca’, which will be sited outside the Theatre Royal Plymouth, have claimed it is “demeaning for women” and fear that her “private parts” will be on display.
