Council loses ACE grant following cuts to rural touring scheme

The 'Centre Stage' rural touring scheme run by Nottinghamshire County Council has lost its £126,730 a year National Portfolio Organisation funding from Arts Council England (ACE) following a decision by Leicestershire County Council to cut its £11.5k annual commitment to the scheme. The ACE funding has instead been diverted to Warwickshire-based rural touring organisation Live & Local to deliver the same programme.
