Cardiff’s cultural venues face funding cuts

St David’s Hall and the New Theatre in Cardiff are under threat as part of a round of cuts at Cardiff Council. The Council, which needs to make savings of £50m this year, says it can no longer afford to subsidise the two buildings and is seeking an outside provider.
