The operator will no longer be able to lease the Royal Society of Edinburgh’s New Town building after the charity decided to stage its own programme of events instead. The move follows the release of a report outlining tough conditions and low pay for C Venues staff, and Edinburgh University’s recent decision to strip the operators of the right to use another venue, Adam House.
