The Electric Arcade, a year-round live performance and film venue, opens this month on Brighton beach.

Due to Covid restrictions it will be launched as a cocktail bar with a beachfront terrace but has plans to offer theatre, comedy, music and film.

The Electric Arcade is run by Otherplace, the team behind festival venue The Warren, which hosts nearly 1,500 performances across the month of the Brighton Fringe.

The new venue boasts two studio theatres, a cabaret stage and affordable rehearsal spaces for local artists who will be also able to use its spaces for readings, meetings and writing.
