Artist in residence for the Forth Road Bridge

Landscape artist Kate Downie has been appointed as the artist in residence for the Scottish bridge to mark its fiftieth anniversary. She will create a piece of art for each year of the bridge’s existence and reflect on the history of bridge building. A ten-day festival for the anniversary is also planned.
