America’s arts funding spared in spending bill

The bipartisan spending bill for the current fiscal year – which is expected to be approved by US Congress this week – includes $150m for the National Endowment for the Arts, marking at least a temporary reprieve from President Trump’s plans to eliminate arts funding.
