ACE gives £1m for Sheffield Lyceum revamp

Arts Council England has given £1m towards a £1.93m refurbishment of the Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield. The revamp will include installing air conditioning and improving balcony seating among other new changes. Sheffield City Council is contributing £500k to the project, but Sheffield Theatres needs to fundraise for the remaining £433k.
