Abbey Theatre celebrated for prioritising gender equality

The Dublin theatre’s new guiding principles on gender equality have been labelled a “momentous step forward in achieving gender equality” by Waking the Feminists, the campaign group which called it to account last year for under-representing women in its scheduled 2016 season.
