The British Arts Festivals Association (BAFA) has commissioned a sector-wide impact study of UK festivals entitled Festivals Mean Business, and is asking arts festivals across the UK to complete its online survey, giving information about their 2006 events.
The purpose of the study is, to bring together key facts and figures about the UK arts festivals sector that can be used to back up persuasive arguments for supporting festivals. The final report of the survey will be launched at the BAFA conference, which takes place in Buxton in October.
