A national entertainment events website has been launched by Johnston Press, one of the UK’s biggest community media groups which runs 250 of the UKs regional newspaper titles. Wow247 combines editorial content with local listings, allowing users to filter events by location from the 500,000 on the site. It has an interface which allows anyone to post a comment, write a review or add their own event. The site is integrated with ticketing, travel and accommodation providers.
