The National Campaign for the Arts (NCA) has published its Manifesto for the Arts, in anticipation of a general election in 2010. The Manifesto encompasses issues such as the contribution the arts make to society, the importance of arts education, economic issues and participation. It was drawn together following consultation with NCA members and others across the UK. The document is launched on 15 June at the NCA’s national conference, ‘Future Britain: Arts leading the way’, at Tate Britain.
