The Institute of Fundraising (IOF) has launched a new single code of practice, which collates 30 codes on different types of fundraising in to one document for the first time. Adherence to the code is a professional requirement for all Institute members, as it outlines key behaviours for acceptable practice. Stephen Pidgeon, Chair of the IOF Standards Committee, highlighted the importance of self-regulation and transparency within the sector saying: “Working in our sector is a privilege, but it also has its obligations. Contributing fully to our sector – particularly the public's view of it – is essential.”
