Funding boost sees jobs increase across Leeds Museums and Galleries

14 new jobs will created across Leeds Museums and Galleries as a result of £5m being awarded over the next three years by Arts Council England (ACE). The new jobs will be concentrated in the areas of audience development and customer service. Leeds was one of 16 successful major museum partners in the UK to receive an increase in funding from ACE and was one of only four bidders nationwide to receive more than £5m.The staff expansion follows renovations worth £1.68m which have been made to the group’s portfolio of venues over the past year.
