An Evidence Library has been created to catalogue a collection of independent research and evaluation on the impact of arts-based projects in the Criminal Justice System, with the aim of putting the arts at the heart of the Government’s rehabilitation programme. The collection has been developed by the Arts Alliance as a response to growing fears among Voluntary Sector workers in prisons that the recession is having an adverse effect on their service provision. It contains work from more than 125 independent researchers, academics and criminal justice professionals.
