A new 24 bay coach park has been created on the edge of London’s Theatre district to provide access to the West End, as well as tackle congestion by coaches in residential areas. The park has been set up by Westminster City Council with the aim of making journeys easier to plan for operators: “This means they can pick up from theatres in a timely manner preventing congestion and wasted waiting time.” Approximately 40% of West End visitors travel into London by coach.
