A £500k prize fund has been set up to give Clore Fellows the chance to devise a creative and inspirational project that aims to change people’s lives for the better. The award, which is being made to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Clore Duffield Foundation, will provide the financial backing either for a big idea to get off the ground, or for a project that can be developed to a new level. Fellows can apply for up to £100k.

The first Clore Foundation leadership programme was launched in the cultural sector ten years ago and was the UK's first cross-disciplinary leadership programme for aspiring leaders within the cultural and creative sector. There are now 257 Clore Fellows across ten cohorts. Five year later the programme was was extended to develop leaders more widely across the  not-for-profit sector, creating a further 83 Clore Fellows across five cohorts. The prize fund winners will be announced at an event to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Clore Leadership Programme and the 5th anniversary of the Clore Social Leadership Programme, which will be held at Tate Britain in the autumn.
