Camelot has announced record half-year returns to National Lottery Good Causes as the company reported its highest-ever interim sales figures. In the six months to the end of September, ticket sales grew to £3.5bn, and direct returns to the National Lottery Good Causes reached £953m, an increase of £34.5m over the same period last year, 20% of which goes to the arts. Since it was launched in 1994 over £29bn has been raised for Good Causes, amounting to 390,000 individual awards.
