Art on the Underground

A commissioning programme by London Underground that will include a new permanent collection and a programme of temporary artworks, is set to offer London’s residents, commuters and visitors much wider access to world-class contemporary art by established and emerging artists.

Under the banner of ‘Art on the Underground’, the new programme, launched last week, takes over from the long-running ‘Platform for Art’.
