What an exciting (if somewhat daunting) challenge! Under founding Editor Liz Hill, this space has become a trusted news source for so many of us in the sector (myself included). Through strong investigation, close scrutiny of the stats and figures and analysis beyond the given facts, ArtsProfessional speaks truth to power. I’m thrilled to take the helm of a news magazine that also celebrates success and shares best practice.
There’s a positive strength in sharing perspective, whether that’s regional or political, informed by practice, gender, seniority or anything else.
In the coming months you can look forward to some changes in our approach, but while we refresh and renew our style, the founding principles – the integrity that’s at the heart of ArtsProfessional – will remain.
