When news of redundancies at Theatre Royal Plymouth hit, Laura Horton channelled her own anguish into gathering stories about what the theatre meant to artists and audiences.

Within half an hour of getting the news of redundancies about Theatre Royal Plymouth, sobbing and snotty nosed, I knew I had to channel my own anguish into something positive otherwise it would engulf me. Although I am obviously pleased that there is now a rescue package, I will not be resting on my laurels and will continue to campaign.
