Emma White applauds the work of a company acknowledging that people with privilege should not be telling the stories of marginalised communities.

2021 marks both the 40th anniversary of theatre company Clean Break, and the 30th year of TiPP’s undergraduate prison theatre course at the University of Manchester. To celebrate this, playwriting and prison theatre students from the university took part in a writing workshop and public seminar on the 3rd of March.
