Can those who create art and music benefit from its therapeutic effects? Celina Lei argues more creative therapy could support both artists and organisations.

Those who experienced the power of art, music and live-streamed entertainment in a time of isolation can attest to the effectiveness of art and music therapy, or at least their therapeutic qualities for audiences.

But creative therapy can play a role in the art sector’s recovery as well, whether for the wellbeing of organisations or for artists themselves.

From psychologist Trisnasari Fraser’s perspective, it’s not only individuals who can suffer from mental health struggles.
