Photography Curator DUNCAN FORBES will join the V&A in the newly-created role of Director of Photography in April.
Forbes will lead the V&A’s team of photography curators, spearhead a major cataloguing and digitisation programme, and oversee development of the V&A Photography Centre, opening in 2022.
He was previously Director of Fotomuseum Winterthur, Switzerland and Senior Curator of Photography at the National Galleries of Scotland.
