Smyth leaves Edinburgh International Book Festival

JANET SMYTH is stepping down as Children and Education Programme Director after eight years with the festival. She played a key role in the creation and success of long-term engagement project, Edinburgh International Book Festival On The Road, which delivered mini-festivals in the Scottish New Towns of Cumbernauld, Glenrothes and Irvine.
