HEBE RILEY has been named Cartwheel Arts’ new Director as RICK WALKER announces his retirement.
Walker will retire in February after 21 years with the Heywood based charity, 17 of which were spent as Director.
“It has been a great privilege to steer Cartwheel through some turbulent times and I am enormously proud of the achievements of the charity and the impact that we have made,” he commented.
A former Engagement Manager at The Lowry, Riley started in post earlier this month for a handover period with.
She says she looks forward to working closely with the Cartwheel Arts team and local communities to deliver an engaging and ambitious programme of work.
