New leadership at The REP

Birmingham Repertory Theatre has announced Olivier Award-winning Actor, Writer and Director SEAN FOLEY as its new Artistic Director. The theatre also announced that AMIT SHARMA, former Associate Artistic Director at the Royal Exchange, and Associate Director at Graeae Theatre Company, will become Deputy Artistic Director. RACHAEL THOMAS, Executive Director of Derby Theatre, will also join as Executive Director.

The trio will take over in the spring as The REP’s current Artistic Director, ROXANA SILBERT, and Executive Director, STUART ROGERS, leave their roles later this year.
