Manchester City of Literature appoints inaugural Executive Director

IVAN WADESON, current Partnerships Director at Dance Consortia North West, has been appointed as Manchester City of Literature’s new Executive Director. He will take up the role next month and use his experience of working for the Royal Exchange Theatre, Arts about Manchester and The Dukes in Lancaster to coordinate the UNESCO City of Literature programme, while developing and strengthening partnerships across Manchester and with other international Creative Cities, to bring in new funding and engage new audiences.
