SAM JAVID has joined Luton's Culture Trust as Creative Director.
Javid will develop the cultural programmes and venues led previously by KAREN PERKINS, who left the trust earlier in the year to become Chief Executive of the Bedfordshire and Luton Community Foundation.
Javid is former Executive Artistic Producer at ArtReach and previously a Leicester Comedy Festival producer.
He was also part of a Creative Europe programme, leading a partnership of 12 major arts organisations across 10 countries.
