Climate Writer-in-Residence post for France

Poet LINDA FRANCE has taken up the unique post of Climate Writer-in-Residence at Newcastle University and New Writing North.

Both organisations declared a climate emergency last year and the year-long residency arises from a commitment to examine and adapt their own practices.

France will define how they can "harness the power of arts and culture to respond to the challenge of the climate crisis," a press release from New Writing North said.
