The Joint Board of the Scottish Arts Council and Scottish Screen has announced the appointment of Anne Bonnar as Transition Director, with responsibility for leading the project to establish the new cultural development body, Creative Scotland. Currently a director of the National Theatre of Scotland and trustee of the National Galleries of Scotland, she was previously General Manager of Traverse and Chair of the Federation of Scottish Theatre, before going on to co-found international arts management consultancy Bonnar Keenlyside.

After six years as Chief Executive, Steve Mannix will be leaving the disability arts organisation Shape to join London 2012.

Dan Brown has been made General Manager of Big Brum Theatre in Education Company, where he replaces Jane Woddis, who leaves to pursue freelance interests.

Joshua Meggitt has been appointed Applications Manager at the PRS Foundation. He replaces Ben Lane, who is now pursuing a freelance career.

Keith Stubbs (pictured), who currently manages the education programme for City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, has been elected as the new Chair of the National Association of Music Educators. He takes over from Chris Harrison.

Kate Robinson will take up the role of Press Officer at Guildfords Yvonne Arnaud Theatre at the beginning of February 2008. She will replace Ali Fletcher.

Oxfordshire Touring Theatre Company has appointed Louise Wiggins (pictured) as Administrative Director. She was previously Centre Co-ordinator at Courtyard Youth Arts Centre in Bicester. Her appointment follows the departure of Jenny Roberts, who has taken up the position of Theatre Officer at Arts Council England, South East.

Eureka! The Museum for Children in Halifax, West Yorkshire has appointed Rebecca Johnson as its Director of Play.

David Titterington (pictured) is to join the International Organ Festival at St Albans as Artistic Director. He is currently Head of Organ Studies at the Royal Academy of Music, and is a renowned international concert recitalist.

Jasper Hope is to join Royal Albert Hall early in 2008 as its Director of Events. He is currently a Senior Director at AEG Live and formerly General Manager Europe with IMG, and will take over the responsibilities of Heather Walker, who has left the Hall to work for Melbourne Arts Centre, Australia.

The Castle, Wellingborough, has announced that Karl Wallace (pictured) is to be its new Artistic Director. He joins from Belltable Theatre and Arts Centre in Limerick, Ireland, where he has been Artistic Director since 2006. He replaces Bart Lee, who worked at The Castle until March of this year.
