Chickenshed has a new Chief Executive, JANE PATERSON-TODD. She was most recently Group Commercial Director with Emap Ltd and previously Head of Development, Sponsorship and Corporate Funding at the Barbican.

 

Manchester Camerata has appointed Hungarian musician GÁBOR TAKÁCS-NAGY as its new Music Director. A founding member of the Takács Quartet, Gábor will take over from DOUGLAS BOYD in September 2011.

The Finborough Theatre has appointed a new team in its Literary Department, following the appointment of former Literary Associate TITAS HALDER to the post of Resident Assistant Director at the Donmar Warehouse. VAN BADHAM is the new Literary Manager, DANIEL BURGESS is Literary Assistant and LAURA JESSOP is Senior Reader.

HQ Theatres, the theatre division of Qdos Entertainment, has appointed Stuart Shanks to the role of General Manager. He was previously Head of Finance and Administration and then General Manager at the Hackney Empire.

PRUDENCE SKENE has become the Chair of the Free Word Board. She has been Chair of the Arvon Foundation and Rambert Dance Company, as well as a member of Arts Council England and Chair of the Lottery Panel. She is currently a trustee of the Nureyev Foundation, the Friends of the V&A Museum and the Stephen Spender Memorial Trust.
