Jennifer Phillips is moving from Aberdeen International Youth Festival to become General Manager at Citymoves, Aberdeen City’s Dance Agency.
Theatre Is… has appointed Jonathan Meth (pictured) as its new executive director, beginning in June. Jonathan is a freelance producer, director, script editor, reader, workshop leader and lecturer, and was most recently Director of Writernet. He will continue to be an associate tutor at Goldsmiths College and an external assessor for the University of East Anglia’s MA in Scriptwriting.
Dundee Rep Theatre has appointed Jemima Levick as Associate Director. She has most recently worked as a freelance director and has also been Workshop Director at the National Theatre of Scotland.
Youth Dance England, the national organisation that champions and promotes dance for children and young people, has appointed five School Dance Co-ordinators to develop dance in schools with a focus on Key Stages 3 and 4. Emma Preston (pictured) will be based at Caister High School Arts College, Roz Lynch (pictured) at Leytonstone and Norlington School Sports Partnerships, Caroline Callaghan (pictured) at Blackburn with Darwen, Alison Dixon (pictured) at Durham County Council and Lindsay Hall (pictured) at South Gloucestershire Council.
The new Director of Marketing and Membership at The Art Fund is Carolyn Young (pictured). She joins from the British Museum, where she has been Head of Membership for the past four years. She has previously been Direct Marketing Manager at Samaritans and the National Trust.

Lisa Panting has joined Picture This, a Bristol- based arts organisation, as Acting Director during current Director Josephine Lanyon’s leave.
A new Arts Programme Co-ordinator, Shonagh Ingram (pictured), has joined Oldham Rochdale Housing Market Renewal Pathfinder to bring art and cultural activities to neighbourhoods undergoing regeneration in the area.
Rebecca Willett (pictured) is leaving Audiences Yorkshire to become Press Officer for Opera North, where her main role will be to manage PR for the Howard Assembly Room.

Asian Music Circuit, a charity that promotes Asian music in the UK, has appointed Sara Bigatti as Operations Manager. She was previously a Cultural Affairs Officer at the Canadian Embassy in Beijing, and prior to that was Deputy Head of Events Management at the British Council in Shanghai, Beijing and London.
Volcano Theatre Company has appointed David Phillips (pictured) as Chairman of its board. He is also Leader of Swansea Labour Party.

Eastern Angles Theatre Company has a new Chair of its Board of Trustees, Dr Peter Funnell. He takes over from David Cole-Jones who first joined the board of the Ipswich-based touring theatre company in 1996.
Christopher Gordon (pictured) has been appointed by the Council of Europe to lead and report on its major evaluation of cultural policy in Turkey during 2009/2010. Turkey is currently an EU accession state candidate, and Istanbul will be European Cultural Capital in 2010.
Rebecca Legg has recently joined Chol Theatre as Projects Administrator.
